Glen’s background includes 33.5 years of policing service in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Prior to his retirement in 2001, Glen served as Police Chief at Oceanside R.C.M. Police Detachment for five years serving a community of over 40,000 people. Glen has an extensive background conducting criminal and civil investigations, risk assessments, traffic law enforcement, auditing & management duties. Glen was also used as a Breathalyzer, Radar, Aircraft and Roadside Screening Devise instructor during his service in the R.C.M. Police.

Glen has attended the Canadian Police College in Ottawa, Ontario and trained as an Operations Commander for Hostage/Barricaded Persons. He has also been trained as a Tactical Troop Instructor, & as a Traffic Accident Investigator.

Glen has also successfully completed the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) course, Senior Police Managers Course, Stephen Covey Principle -Centered Leadership course, Incident Command System training though the Justice Institute of British Columbia, & other relevant courses relating to the security industry.
